Hi There!
First, thanks for taking time to check us out. Have a look around to get an idea of who we are, what we do, and discover how we’ve been helping brands grow and thrive—even in tough economic times. It’s kind of our thing. Speaking of which, it’s also how we got our name, Works Progress Design.
What's in a Name?
In case you were wondering, it’s a nod to the Works Progress Administration; part of FDR’s New Deal that employed millions to carry out public work projects after the Great Depression. The WPA combined the creativity of the new art movements with the values of the American people. The initative’s Federal Art Project created over 5,000 jobs for artists and produced over 225,000 amazing works of art. Their work stands as a reminder of a period in our country’s history when trying economic times could not halt creativity and good design really could make progress.
